ApplyAsk a questionSave opportunityAn exciting ground level opportunity for a dynamic person with media and/or marketing experience to play a key role in the success of a newly registered charity with a unique focus on helping family carers of dementia patients,What will you be doing?In this exciting ground level opportunity, the post is inherently flexible with the possibility of being appointed a trustee after a "getting to know" period. The appointed person will work with the trustees and report to the chairman
  • Develop an outreach media and marketing programme to build the desired image and raise awareness
  • Help create communications and messaging tools - digital and otherwise
  • Research Carers changing needs and develop appropriate strategies
  • Contribute to strategic direction and operational management of the charity
What are we looking for?Experience in marketing and/or media are important but more critical is that the applicant needs to be hands on with a get up and go attitude and a team player
  • They need to be self-motivated, very well organised
  • They need to have several years’ experience with Microsoft Office
  • They need to be familiar with social media
  • A good communicator, speaking and writing skills are essential.
