DONATE increasingly needs to respond to bids and opportunities across both the public and private sectors. We’re looking for an experienced bid writer to pick up and run this area of our charity’s work.What will you be doing?We want you to own and manage your own time developing bids and responding to tenders. We want you to be a self-starter. You will work closely with the inspirational and entrepreneurial from the founder to develop bids that are full of social value and impact, are crisply written and eye-catching.What are we looking for?Confident, proven bid writer who has an eye for detail, enjoys the creating writing process and is able to work independently (but with support from across the charity).What difference will you make?As public funding becomes more precarious charities are increasingly looking for corporate partners and longer-term public contracts to bolster their income. DONATE plays an important part in this, providing means for match funding, local funding and other services. Additionally, in our own capacity, we are finding ourselves needing to develop bids when responding to larger charity needs.In both instances, you help and expertise will enable us to adapt, provide more and better services and so in turn support the charitable sector.Before you applyPlease send a short note why this role is right for you and any examples of relevant work.Causes
