An opportunity to engage with residents frm the local area to address issued which may be affecting their lives. This could be by offering advice and support or by signposting and referring to other partner agencies. Although the training within CA is ongoing, the volunteer roles on offer give opportunity to support the most vulnerable and give volunteers a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction in helping others.

Good communication skills, ability to disseminate information, IT literatte and competency in English, able to work as part of a team

HQ in central Redcar. Opportunities in various loocations across the borough. Accessible by bus from all areas of the borough and by train from Middlesbrough. CA offers a structured and weoll delivered package of e-learning, Adviser Skills Training and practical application with bureaux. This is facililtated by a Guidance Tutor with support from an experienced bureau supervisor and other qualified advisers. There is ongoing support throughout training.
