We’re looking for new Charity Trustees to join the Board. Raising Youth is a small charity operating in Medway, Kent with the aim of supporting Children, Young People and Families to the best outcomes possible.

What will you be doing?

As a young charity, we need individuals to join the Board of Trustees to help shape our future. In September 2022, we will be relaunching and rebranding our charity with the aim of supporting Children, Young People and Families in Medway to reach better outcomes. Joining to board will mean that you’ll play a big role in transforming the brand and work that we currently do and any work we’ll do in the future.

We’re particularly looking for individuals with knowledge of
  • Financial Management
  • Governance
  • Safeguarding
  • Change Management
  • Planning and Development
  • Human Resources
  • Compliance
We’re also looking for people with backgrounds in the following area
  • Education
  • Children’s Social Care
  • Youth Work
  • Finance
  • Governance
  • Lived Experience

As part of the board of trustees, you will help shape our charity’s brand and future ahead of our rebranding and relaunch in September 2022. You’ll also lend your skills, knowledge and experience to help shape the work we doe to help us reach the best outcomes for as many children, young people and families as possible.
