Do you like to organise activities? Do you like engaging others and completing activities? Do you want experience supporting individuals who are vulnerable? This role will be a great opportunity for anyone interested in planning and delivering various interesting and fun activity groups for customers and their families. Types of activity will depend on the customer group chosen (Extra Care/Tanya’s Services). This opportunity will allow volunteers to assist staff with the planning, implementation and maintenance of various interesting and fun activity groups for service users, families and their children to participate in to improve their skills and knowledge. Role tasks include:
  • Consult with customers to see what activities they want in place
  • Make colourful informative posters to generate interest for activities
  • Help with setting up/putting away activities

Full training will be given to all activity support volunteers this includes an E-Learning package and 2 mandatory training days with the Volunteer Coordinator. Out of pocket travel expenses will be reimbursed.
