Our prestige engineering client is currently recruiting for the following role:Visibility Systems Engineer-Remote & Warwickshire
  • Salary £40-45k p.a. +10% PRP + Benefits Role: The Visibility Systems Engineer will lead the technical development of Visibility systems ensuring robust requirement definition. You will elicit requirements from stakeholders within the business and real world customers through the data lake and customer insight events. You will share you expertise with the wider team improving Body of Knowledge and keeping the team updated on process improvements within the business.
  • Responsibility:-Designing class leading user experiences
  • Stakeholder identification and requirement elicitation
  • System integration and harmonisation into the wider vehicle System of Systems
  • Verification and Validation
  • Assist the development system integration tests-Lead and collaborate in cross-functional technical reviews of systems
  • Issue resolution and objective data analysis
  • Leading team members and stakeholders to understand Systems Engineering methodology
  • Experience / Skills Required: Essential:-Effective communicator with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
  • Systems development, decomposition, and delivery through all stages of the Systems V cycle
  • Development of customer facing systems with HMI elements
  • Experience in project scope definition
  • Detailed knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering trough Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow toolchain
  • Quality and robustness techniques and standards such as FMEA, P-Diagrams, noise factor analysis, and data analysis techniques to support this
  • Component and system level issue investigations including appropriate problem solving and reporting tools (Six Sigma, 5D, Is / Is Not, Fault Tree etc.)
  • Experience of safety critical systems and software, including standards such as ISO26262, IEC61508 or similar. Desirable:
  • Experience in applying Systems Engineering and in solving complex technical issues using a structured approach
  • Experience in Dassault toolsets including CATIA 3Dx, TRM, and Magic Systems Of Systems Architect
  • Experience in Matlab Simulink
  • Understanding of automotive networking, diagnostics and fault handling techniques, and related system development tools (CANalyzer, ASL, CANape, etc.) The services advertised by Premea Limited for this vacancy are those of an Employment Agency.
