The Real Estate Advisory Group (REAG) within Kroll provides clients with expert advice across a range of property asset classes throughout the UK. We support a variety of client interests, from financing, secured lending, purchase price allocation (merger & acquisition support), to financial reporting, due diligence and property restructuring.

Currently an opportunity exists to join our market leading property restructuring and valuation advisory team, providing advice to lenders, stakeholders and property companies in respect of performing and non-performing real estate across the UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare valuation advice across both commercial and residential property, principally for secured lending, in line with RICS Red Book requirements.
  • Manage and take an active role in training junior surveyors in the preparation of valuation and property advice.
  • Assist the Managing Directors in growing the valuation team, including the skillsets and knowledgebase within it.
  • To the extent required, assist in the delivery of LPA receivership cases, blending valuation, asset management and transaction management skillsets.
  • Draft internal and external reports and presentation material.
  • Undertake advisory assignments with a focus on Options Analysis and value recovery particularly in relation to workout and insolvency scenarios.
  • Work and communicate efficiently with third party suppliers assisting in the delivery of restructuring and receivership mandates, to include but not limited to; agents, auctioneers, contractors, solicitors.
  • Managing instruction timelines and ensuring deadlines.
  • Provide assistance to the wider team where necessary.
  • Assist with any other tasks deemed necessary for the efficient running of the business.
  • Undertake property and market research.
  • Attending relevant industry events to broaden your knowledge and experience within the real estate industry.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • MRICS Qualified and an RICS Registered Valuer.
  • Registered Property Receiver preferable but not a necessity.
  • Minimum of 4 years post qualification valuation experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (report writing and proofreading capabilities essential).
  • Strong knowledge of real estate generally, including valuation principles.
  • Diligent, conscientious and highly motivated with the ability to work to a demanding schedule in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Superior interpersonal, communication, marketing, sales and organizational skills.
  • Excellent research abilities.
  • Ability to make effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience with managing of day to day aspects of client relationships and projects.
  • Valid driver’s license.
