Calder Vets is a central Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital with 10 satellite clinics. We are proud to provide our own 24-hour on site emergency care through our dedicated ECC night team. We offer a full range of primary care services, such as consultations, preventative healthcare, vaccinations, routine and non-routine surgery, dentistry and imaging (X-ray and ultrasound). We are also able to offer some advanced services such as laparoscopy, endoscopy, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries, cardiology, ophthalmology and CT scans, and we have our own rehabilitation service with physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and laser therapy.
Our ethos is clinical excellence and we try and live by our Core Values. Client and patient care is at the heart of what we do and we are proud to be a Cat Friendly Clinic. We run on 15 minute consults as a minimum.
Due to continued success we have several roles available for full and part time for varying experience levels - we have scope for 2-5yr grads as well as more experienced cert holder roles, especially those with an interest in medicine or imaging. We have opportunities at our Tier 3 Dewsbury Hospital and at our satellite surgeries.
We also believe in work-life balance - our vets work a 40 hour week over 3.5 days/1 in 4 weekends and so have a full day and a half off each week. We firmly believe everyone should have a lunch break and everyone should expect to leave on time.
