We have a great opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join the team at a first opinion small animal practice with in house referrals in Blackburn area of Lancashire.

  • excellent full time permanent opportunity including 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH.
  • purpose built practice with 4 consult rooms, a dental and imaging suite, a separate induction area, prep room and lab room, a large colleague space and fully equipped with doppler ultrasound, operating loupes, electrosurgery unit, tonometry, dental x-ray and orthopaedic kit etc.
  • varying workload and in house referrals
  • ideally you will have good routine surgical and medical skills and be looking to develop further.
  • practice has great track record at developing early careers
  • CPD funding and Certificates supported
  • join a sociable, supportive, friendly and welcoming team.
  • well located with regular bus every 30 mins into Manchester City Centre and good train and motorway links with Pennines, Dales and Lakes nearby.

Person Requirements:

  • Graduate in Veterinary Medicine
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • good routine surgical and medical skills
