Vehicle Techniciansurgentlyrequired for a leading specialist automotive organisation business based near Chichester. We are looking for candidates with experience of mechanic work ideally within a dealership or OEM environment.The company manufactures a wide range of specialist vehicles. We are looking for qualified technicians who can do full strip, rectification and rebuilds on high end vehicles

Main Accountabilities And Responsibilities

  • The role will be working on Work in progress WIP Vehicles.
  • Must have Exp of working in OEM such as minor rectification within OEM. Remedial reworks, adjusting of headlights, grills, etc.
  • Fitting components, re-fitting suspensions, brakes etc
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Conducting inspections and identifying potential problems
  • Using power tools and hand tools to complete tasks
  • Replacing damaged parts
  • Interior trim replacements
  • Relatively easy work for a qualified vehicle technician.
  • Contract till Feb 2024 & can be extendable.

Pointers for the role-

  • Must provide own PPE, minimum standard, consisting of ESD safety wear, work trousers no metal or exposed zips, black top.
  • Must be flexible for the duration of the contract at times to achieve the project contracted for.
  • The role is determined as inside of IR35.
  • Flat rate Monday to Friday- £21- £23 per hour plus £25.00 per day allowance, Salary percentage on weekends- + 25% extra for Saturday and in the case +50% extra for Sunday.

Shift Duration-

  • Rotating shift - For one week- 06:00am to 14:30 am & other week- 15:20 pm to 23:50 pm-
  • The associates have the ability to also do the following shift hours voluntarily- Monday to Friday - 06:00 am to 18:00 pm / 11:00 am to 23:50 pm
  • Saturdays from 06:00 am to 12:00 noon or if required by the client to 14:30 pm, this depends on workflow.
