Vehicle Technician required in Gloucester.
  • Starting salary up to £30,000-£34,000 per annum pending experience/current earnings.
  • Working hours from 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday with a half hour lunch. No weekends required!
  • Access to Bosch accredited training/development within a reputable family run business.
Our client, an independent Bosch Car Service Centre in the Gloucester region, are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join their expanding business.

Reporting to the Business Owner and working as part of a friendly team of four other Vehicle Technicians, your main duties as a Vehicle Technician will include carrying out mechanical servicing, maintenance and repair on vehicles as instructed to the standards laid down by our client.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Business Owner as and when required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance.

You will also need to ensure that workmanship quality and Health & Safety (HSE) procedures relating to the task at hand are adhered to at all times.

In order to be eligible for this Vehicle Technician role, you will need to be qualified to an IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and ideally have at least 3 to 4 years’ practical experience post-qualification. A UK driving license with minimal points is also essential.

Overall, for this Vehicle Technician role, you will need to be a team player, be capable of working to the standards of our client’s business, have an organised and methodical approach to your workload with a high standard of workmanship, and be comfortable working in an independent garage environment.

Any experience working with BMW/MINI vehicles would be highly advantageous to our client given their specialism with these brands.
