HGV technician required for permanent, full time role based in Frome – BA11

£38,376 - £43,290 per annum, depending on experience
5 days a week Monday to Friday 14.00pm – 23.30pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays 08.00am – 13.00pm
Overtime paid after 45 hours worked per week
Approx. 1 mile from nearest bus stop or free parking on site

About the role

Service and Inspect vehicles and report orally or in writing upon the vehicles condition, safety and reliability and performance (MOT)
Diagnose, observe, recognise and report on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
To ensure all service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, manufacturer paperwork and electronic documentation are fully completed and signed off.
You may on occasions be asked to carry out roadside repairs and to recover defective or damaged vehicles
Safety Inspections
Routine Maintenance
To report any broken or faulty equipment to your Supervisor/Manager

The right candidate

This role would be suitable for an existing HGV Technician or an LCV Technician looking to convert to HGV
Time served Technician with City & Guilds or Equivalent
Minimum 1 year post Apprentice experience as a Vehicle Technician
General mechanical ability.
