Our client produces classic cars with modern electric power trains. Working from a prestigious new unit in Northampton and run by experienced industry professionals, they are starting with the most iconic cars and making them suitable for the modern world in a truly unique way.

Their focus is on delivering the very best car that they can for their clients and a huge amount of time and attention is being given to mechanical restoration, paint and trim. Under the skin the cars must be perfect too and this requires all new wiring looms and modern electrical and electronic systems all of which need to be integrated seamlessly and invisibly into the car to create something that is both beautiful and a reliable joy to live with in the long term.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical work to include the ability to remove existing powertrain.
  • Stripping and re-building steering and suspension components.
  • Refurbishment / upgrading braking systems.
  • Removal and installing new interior. (Pre-Built).
  • Ability to carry out basic fabrication work supporting new ancillary parts being fitted.
  • Capable of working to a high standard
  • Adhering to Health and Safety business requirements

Desired Work Experience:

  • Ability and confidence to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to work on a broad range of classic vehicles.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Basic automotive electric skills

Education & Skills

  • Extremely self-motivated.
  • Apprenticeship qualification or industry served automotive experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on a broad range of old and modern cars.
