Job description

Our client based in Poole has a vacancy requirement for a Van Driver to join their team. The successful applicant will be required to drive mainly in the South Coast and London. The standard week is 37.5 hours and there will be quite often 6am starts due to the driving routes required.

Job brief

We are looking for a responsible Van Driver to distribute products promptly to our clients. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. Start times will often be 6pm due to driving routes. The successful applicant will be representing the company when visiting clients.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
  • Follow routes and time schedule
  • Basic Warehouse duties when required
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
  • Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve client’s complaints
  • Complete logs and reports
  • Follow regulations and safety standards

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations
  • Presentable and have good communication skills

A DBS check will be done if accepted
