Validation Officer - Pharmaceuticals

Role:Permanent contract

Location: Barnstaple, Devon

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (08:00-16:30)

Salary: Circa. £34,000pa subject to experience + bonus + significant benefits

The Role:

We’re seeking a meticulous and pragmatic Validation Officer to support our on-going company growth and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems and procedures. In this varied role, you’ll apply scientific principles to a diverse range of projects and processes, making a significant contribution to the quality compliance of the business. You’ll work as part of a team on validation activities across the lifecycle of our products and be supported by tailored training and mentoring to facilitate your development. On a daily basis, this means you could be helping us bring new products to the site by proving safety and consistency in manufacturing (writing protocols, testing product, generating and handling output data and resolving any deviations) or supporting our process validation for incoming product transfers. By supporting on cross-functional projects, you’ll work closely with a broad range of departments across the business to ensure work is completed to the required regulatory and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards, whilst maintaining all validation documents, systems and procedures. In addition, you’ll interpret our Production and QC data, distilling it to an easily understandable format and presenting it to management, regulatory authorities or customers. This role is a great opportunity to broaden your knowledge and gain experience in a diverse role within the pharma industry.

The Person:

· A good understanding of GMP and awareness of validation

· Proficient in using MS Office, particularly Word & Excel

· Experience of data analysis and reporting / presentation of findings

· Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

· Excellent communication skills, at all levels of the business up to senior management

· Ability to work autonomously but also within a team and building effective relationships
