UX DESIGNER / PERMANENT / FULL TIME / HYBRID - Northwich

SALARY: £23,850 + excellent benefits + hybrid working

RMG is a looking for a talented and experienced UX Designer to take responsibility for creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences for our digital products. Your primary focus will be on understanding user needs, conducting user research, and translating those insights into wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and visual designers, to ensure the successful implementation of user-centric design solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for user-centric design, a deep understanding of UX best practices, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional user experiences.

You must be able to commute to our Northwich office (CW9 7LN) 2 days per week.

What are some of the tasks you’ll be doing?

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and motivations.
• Create user personas, user journey maps, and other UX artifacts to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project goals, requirements, and success criteria.
• Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to validate and iterate on design solutions.
• Collaborate with visual designers to ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, UX best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Complete Root Cause Analysis to determine best practices.
• Update and maintain WordPress Sites.
• Work with Data Analyst to design new functionality based on data research.
• Design, implement, and analyse A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the impact of UX changes on user engagement and conversion rates.
• Use data-driven approaches to make recommendations for iterative improvements and optimizations.

What skills are we looking for?

• Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Canva and WordPress.
• Solid understanding of user-centric design principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with user research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive and user-friendly designs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions to stakeholders.
• Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Google Analytics and HotJar is preferable.
• Experience in Salesforce (not essential).
