Main duties of the job

This post offers an exciting and challenging opportunity for staff members working at an advanced level of practice to join a committed team providing urgent care to patients living in North West Wales. The Urgent Care Practitioner will be expected to provide a high level of clinical expertise, knowledge and skills in the treatment of patients accessing the GP Out of Hours setting. This will include taking the lead role in the clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients who may present with acute/urgent needs at time when their GP Surgeries are closed. The practitioner will be expected to work closely with the multifaceted team as well as autonomously at times. The autonomous practitioner role is part of an Out of Hours team caring for the population of North Wales during evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
