We are actively seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our Underwriting Claims Operations team in our Londonlocation. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the underwriting team in maintaining efficient processes and providing excellent customer service to clients. You will play a key part in ensuring our underwriting and claims teams have the necessary tools to deliver maximum benefit to our customers.

What you’ll do:


· Support underwriters in the delivery of an effective and efficient administration service.

· Provide pre-underwriting and rating support to underwriters and other staff, such as data entry and verification, ensuring accuracy of information.

· Produce ad hoc reports, presentations and marketing literature for senior managers, underwriters and other staff members.

· Maintain and develop key relationships with brokers and external clients, responding to client queries in an accurate and timely manner.


Skills and experience you’ll bring:


· High school graduate or equivalent

· Proven administrative experience, preferably within the insurance or financial sectors

· Experience and comfort with high volume data entry

· Good working knowledge of MS Office with well-developed spreadsheet skills

· Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively as a part of a team, and a customer centric focus
