Underwriting Administrator
Wirral
£20,000-£24,000 plus Benefits

Our client, an insurance brokerage based on the Wirral, is seeking an Underwriting Administrator to work as part of one of their specialist teams providing excellent admin support and playing a vital part in the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with submissions for broker and preparing these to be quoted by one of the Underwriters.
  • Undertaking all necessary pre-underwriting checks, ensuring risk information fits the criteria.
  • Sourcing information from external sources.
  • Uploading all information into the database and keeping this up to date.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven Administrative experience is essential, ideally working in an insurance environment although other sectors such as financial services and legal would be equally considered.
  • Knowledge of FCA rules would also be great, although not essential.
  • A keen eye for detail is imperative, with the ability to manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • IT proficiency, with good knowledge of Excel.
