This is a dual role position with involvement in supporting Area Managers to deliver best practice standards and the Health, Safety & Training Manager to promote a culture of safety first. The role will be based at our Brigg office but will involve regular travel to sites around the UK, both locally to Brigg and within the Hereford area. Therefore, a full driving licence is essential.

Working under the guidance of the Area Managers you will visit catch teams, farms and farmers in a structured and focused manner, providing visible support to all in house and sub-contracted poultry teams operating under the Keyo banner. You will support in ensuring animal welfare, health and safety and bio-security best practice standards are at an optimum quality and consistent across our service.

You will provide support to the Health, Safety & Training Manager in developing and maintaining the health and safety management system including health and safety records, procedures and metrics and the completion and review of risk assessments on all work equipment and operations. You will support in ensuring all accidents are documented, investigated thoroughly and recommendations for improvement are implemented and have involvement in establishing and maintaining a structured programme of internal health and safety audits, inspections and checks

Due to the nature of the role, you will also have involvement and participation in customer audits and liaising with regulatory authorities.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, however due to the nature of the role, these hours may need to be flexible.
