This role requires someone with proven copywriting skills, very keen attention to details and an obsession for correct grammar and spelling.This is a fast-paced role, with multiple and strict deadlines. Working on catalogues, email campaigns, postcards and many other varying projects, our Creative team maybe small in size but are mighty in output!

Key Responsibilities

  • Writing engaging, market right copy for the UK market across all channels to the required deadlines and following global brand/voice guidelines.
  • Deliver strong concept to customer ideas as part of Global Go To Market process working with the European Copy Manager and other members of the creative and brand team.
  • Represent creative team in relevant meetings as required.
  • Supervise the work of other members of the team and/or freelance writers as designated by the European Copy Manager.
  • Managing team members and be responsible for creating their goals and writing annual appraisals.
  • Proofread other team members work to ensure accuracy and consistency through all channels.

Required Experience

  • Knowledge of all Adobe Creative Cloud packages, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, XD and InCopy.
  • 5 years copy writing experience, ideally within a Fashion/Retail background.
  • Experience of managing and/or coaching junior colleagues.
  • Strong copywriting skills with experience of writing to Brand standards to reflect the company voice.
  • Proven editing and proof-reading of others work.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines and planning work for others.
  • Self-motivated, with the flexibility to work in a fast paced, quick change environment.
