As a Brand Manager for the UK & Ireland team you will be at the forefront of implementing marketing brand strategies to deliver innovative operational brand plans to achieve business outcomes across both prescription & OTC brands.

What will I be doing?

  • Developing and implementing operational / tactical plans to support strategy, addressing customer needs, to achieve sales targets within assigned budget
  • Managing the approval process for all marketing outputs including internal approval within Aspen & external approval by Industry organisations (e.g. PAGB) or partner organisations.
  • Promoting effective cross functional teamwork with sales, marketing, medical, regulatory, commercial and other colleagues within the UK & global as appropriate to effectively implement campaigns
  • Understanding the marketplace, patient flow, leverage points and competitor environment & develop plans to capitalise on opportunities & address threats.
  • Evaluating campaign impact vs objectives
  • Ensuring materials are available at the right time & of right quality
  • Briefing in all projects & monitoring outputs of external agencies & partners
  • Managing the marketing spend in line with budget & business requirements. Ensuring deviations are highlighted and corrective action proposed
  • Ensuring adherence to industry specific codes of practice, advertising codes, regulatory directives and guidelines and Aspen SOPs.

What skills do I need?

  • You have a life science degree or equivalent
  • You have been working in pharmaceutical marketing for a min of 2 years
  • You have excellent planning and organisation skills
  • You have great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You should be able to demonstrate an ability to work independently and demonstrate pro-activity
  • You should have an analytical approach to problem solving.
  • You should have a good commercial and strategic awareness.
