About the role.

This is a great opportunity to join an established and successful team. We are currently looking for a motivated and skilled Tutor with a rehabilitation focused mind-set to teach adults within a medium secure hospital environment. As a Tutor delivering education, you can really make a difference to improve people’s lives. Challenging, yet extremely rewarding, this role plays a significant part in helping to improve the lives of our learners. Our Tutors play an integral part in identifying the training requirements, building training plans and helping to overcome any barriers to future employment.

Have you got what it takes?

You will need to demonstrate high ethical standards, take personal accountability for everything you do, and always want to be the best. You should have experience of working in a community setting and or may have some clinical experience of working with people with a learning disability, mental health problem or personality disorder along with experience of developing curriculum/ programmes of learning. You should an appropriate level 3 qualification. A level 5 qualification is desired but don’t worry if you haven’t got one, PeoplePlus can support you with obtaining additional qualifications required for the role. It is essential to have a flexible approach to teaching and be willing to work with patients to co-produce learning programs that suit their needs and requirements.
