The opportunity
  • Identify Trusted Intelligent Connectivity opportunities with EY Field of Play Leads, EY account teams, external partners and clients
  • Responsibility for arranging and facilitating client sessions and driving through sales and revenue for EY.
  • Convene relevant EY Field of Play Leaders and account teams to shape initial solution blueprints which solve defined client challenges, through the proposal stage to statements of work.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Partner Ecosystem, owning external relationships and acting as the primary point of contact
  • Making initial contact with potential new partners in line with hub strategy, and assessing their capabilities and potential to be included in the ecosystem
  • Working as part of a dynamic UK innovation team managing the partner ecosystem and day to day operations of the Trusted Intelligent Connectivity hub, including liaising with other UK Innovation Hub teams, facilities and other stakeholders to organise sessions
  • Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies, connectivity and enterprise innovations, and bring fresh ideas for EY to drive opportunities based on the partner ecosystem and client challenges.

Your Key Responsibilities

Opportunity identification
  • Develop relationships internally and externally – increasing awareness and accessibility of the Hub
  • Follow up on expressions of interest in Trusted Intelligent Connectivity and understand more about the requirements of the client/team in question

Develop and execute pipeline
  • Responsible for creation of the Trusted Intelligent Connectivity pipeline, including updating with newly identified opportunities and planning the support and sessions required to deliver against the pipeline

Support Trusted Intelligent Connectivity session planning and preparation
  • Working collaboratively with the Trusted Intelligent Connectivity team - liaise with EY Fields of Play, client account teams and clients to:
  • Design and execute high profile client events
  • Understand the desired outcomes for the client and using design thinking methodologies/global wavespace toolkit to design and deliver an experience that achieves those outcomes
  • Lead the facilitation/front of house delivery of a range of high impact events and workshops in the London wavespace and virtually
  • Lead the delivery team for certain client events, consisting of facilitation, design, production and content.
  • Align on session contents, including use cases to be explored and asset creation required
  • Track session preparation against plan, including following up and liaising with account and client teams
  • Shape initial solution blueprints through the proposal stage to statements of work
  • Guide account team as required to maintain alignment with original business justification and problem statement
  • Link with and build relationships with the rest of the wavespace network

Partner Ecosystem Management
  • Initiate and own relationships with potential and existing ecosystem partners in line with the Hub strategy
  • Work with other stakeholders to identify relevant partners for upcoming opportunities
  • Maintain visibility and share status with wider team on ecosystem partners
  • Escalate issues which require senior support to resolve
  • Maintain understanding of EY alliance framework, and apply where appropriate to partner relationships

Supporting the Trusted Intelligent Connectivity Hub Director in overall hub management, including:
  • Fulfil governance and reporting requirements under:
  • UK&I Client Innovation – recurrent reporting including measuring against Hub OKRs
  • Global TMT Convergence Network – prepare and deliver status update at recurrent governance calls and input to discussion as appropriate
  • Manage junior Hub team members, providing career guidance, feedback and appropriate opportunities
  • Support recruitment of hub team with support from EY Talent and HR teams
  • Supporting Trusted Intelligent Connectivity brand and marketing strategy

Skills & Attributes For Success
  • Knowledge of emerging technology trends, including Intelligent Technologies (such as AI, Data Analytics and Automation), future connectivity technologies (such as 5G, LEO satellites, etc.) and cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrable executive presence and credibility to communicate effectively with C-Suite level stakeholders and ability to work with the CEO and Board of major international firms
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and experience or interest in impactful storytelling
  • Knowledge and experience of applying design thinking methodologies
  • Strong demonstrable Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
  • Experience of designing, managing and running multiple day events for external clients
  • Confidence with ambiguity
  • Bias for action: can be counted on to deliver
  • Demonstrated experience building strong cross functional working relationships within a matrix environment.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively, and maintain warm relationships with a wide range of team members and clients
  • Ability to manage people in the event and EY account teams to deliver successful events every time
  • Ability to identify client opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and connect with relevant SMRs as necessary.
  • Commercial acumen to identify opportunities and successfully drive through to sales
  • Strong change agent skills
