University Hospitals Plymouth is a trauma centre and one of the largest and busiest hospitals in the South West. We are looking for three WTE fixed term additions to our current resident rota in Critical Care. The resident rota has been expanded as a consequence of the current pandemic. This is a challenging but exciting opportunity to be involved in the care of some of the sickest patients in Derriford Hospital.

Previous experience of Intensive Care is not required and residents are well supported by senior staff. The role of the residents is primarily based on the Adult Intensive Care. You will be part of a very supportive and approachable team and provided with ample opportunity for hands-on training. Residents will be exposed to a vast array of pathologies and patient groups, including but not limited to Trauma, Medical, Surgical and Obstetric.
