Trelya Community Café & Training Hub Sessional Worker

Location: Penzance

Salary:£25,000 FTE

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to support and work alongside Trelya’s Community Kitchen and Training Hub Manager. The post-holder will support the Manager in delivering food-based events in collaboration with all services at Trelya and organisations within the community. You will work with the Manager to prepare and serve a creative menu of food and drinks; support the design and delivery of food activities including a community larder; as well as working with/supporting Trelya Community Cafe volunteers.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative charity, which is leading the way in addressing social exclusion. The Community Kitchen and Training Hub will build on existing services delivered at Trelya to ensure that Trelya consistently provides an enriching and educative environment giving children, young people and families the opportunity to develop and fulfil their aspirations and potential. Opportunities will be offered through the Community Kitchen and Training Hub and will include exploration of a wide range of food provision, training, accreditation, and seamless progression pathways.
