The Serviceman is a committee ran public house who operate on a not for profit basis. We are currently looking for a part time treasurer to take over from our existing. This is a paid position and takes on average 3-4 hours per week. Hours can be completed from home or on site to suit the right candidate.

The role includes:
- Completing weekly cash & card reconciliations and preparing banking sheets (includes income from the bar, pool table & bandit)
- Entering all Purchase & Sales ledger entries into our account software (VT Transaction+)
- Completing monthly bank reconciliations
- Completing weekly & monthly payroll including FPS, Pension & PAYE returns
- Assisting the Bar Manager with staff calculations (including holiday/statutory etc)
- Liaising with local account firm re annual CT returns
- Liaising with the committee at all times
- Any other ad-hoc duties from time to time

Experience Required:
- Preferably a minimum of 1 year in book-keeping or a relevant role
or
- Achieved or working towards an Accounting Qualification
