What you will be doing...

Reporting to the Jet2.com Deputy Travel Service Manager, the Travel Service Supervisorwill be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the Travel Service Team. You will be a key individual, a source of reference and decision maker for any situations that may arise.

This is a full-time role working on a rostered shift basis – 4 days on and 4 days off including Bank Holidays.

You will play a vital role in supporting the Travel Service Team working along side our internal and external customers. The Travel Service Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that theTravelService Team remains vigilant in delivering a cost-conscious approach when booking accommodation and transport for our crew and colleague’s. The Travel Service Supervisor will be proactive in supporting the Deputy Travel Service Manager and the Travel Service Manager, by leading the team and to provide effective training and mentoring.

In addition, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the Travel Service manual and processes, ensuring that all new amendments are updated in in accordance with CAA regulations. The individual will be required to manage and maintain supplier audits in accordance with CAA requirements; you will manage expiration dates and action where necessary. You will liaise with the H&S team and carry out any Risk Assessment’s that are required.

You will be required to track and manage all spend within Travel Services and provide data on a weekly / monthly basis to senior management and Directors.

You will manage and monitor any supplier issues in relation to safety and fatigue allowing risks to be identified using the Jet2.comSafety Management System. You will investigate the issues and offer solutions and escalate where necessary. Issues surrounding quality will be discussed with the supplier and action taken where required.

The successful candidate will have effective decision making skills and excellent communication skills are a must, along with a genuine passion for delivering a VIP customerservice to our colleague’s and crew. Proven prioritisation and problem solving skills are a must with the highest standards and attention to detail is also required in the role.
