Travel Sales Representative – FTE £21,000 plus commission

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Travel Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling accommodation and services to individuals and corporate clients. You will have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional sales skills and passion for travel to create memorable experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and proactively seek out new business opportunities in the travel industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their travel preferences and needs.
  • Develop customised travel packages tailored to meet the unique requirements and budgets of clients.
  • Keep in regular contact with existing clients for their travel needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends.
  • Handle all aspects of the sales process, from initial contact and follow-up to closing the sale and post-sales support.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and travel bookings in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with other team members, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals and secure profitable deals.
  • IT literate
  • Familiarity with various reservation systems and travel booking platforms.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple client enquiries and bookings.
  • Previous customer service experience, face to face or over the telephone.
