£41,000 – £43,000 Per Annum DOE

This leading healthcare provider are searching for a Nurse to join their team as a Travel Nurse across three of their GP practices based in Milton Keynes. These state-of-the-art, purpose-built primary care services are renowned for their excellent NHS primary and urgent care that covers a vast range of services to over 13,000 patients. These include GP and Practice Nurse appointments centring around Vaccinations, Immunisations, and Long-Term Condition Management. All the practices pride themselves on their high-quality patient care and quality standards alongside their ability to tailor services to suit individual patient’s health and wellbeing needs. As a successful Travel Nurse for this role, you will be responsible for the daily running and management of the Travel Clinic for both NHS and private patient. You will manage the risk of oversees travellers, using up-to-date knowledge and the distribution of health risk and disease. You will be administering vaccinations under Patient Group Directions (PGD) and Patient Specific Directions (PSD) to a variety of patients from all age groups. You will have the opportunity to autonomously run a clinic whilst being able to make meaningful relationships with your patients.

Requirements

Registered Nurse with the NMC.
Previous experience with travel immunisations desired.
Understanding of PGD’s and PSD’s
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for high quality patient care

These GP surgeries are based in Milton Keynes, commutable from Northampton, Brackley, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, and Bedford.
