About the Opportunity

The On the Beach Beds team are at the heart of On the Beach and we have an exciting opportunity for a Travel Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for liaising with our customers and suppliers to ensure that every On the Beach holiday is the perfect customer experience. We manage any changes to a booking before travel and we support our customers whilst they"re on holiday. This is a varied, challenging and exciting role and offers a lot of scope for career and skill development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring customer and supplier satisfaction by answering any queries professionally and in a confident manner
  • Loading and maintaining contracts and channel manager connections in our in house system; loading special offers to existing contracts
  • Liaising with hotels/other departments to resolve any problems that occur whilst clients are in resort
  • Dealing with accommodation amendments, special requests, hotel changes
  • Improving customer experience by feeding back any issues to other parts of the business
  • Working as part of a team as well as working independently to handle and manage workloads
  • Increase customer loyalty, delivering customer satisfaction, delivering consistent and professional communications

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • The On the Beach Beds team are part of a bigger Customer Experience team and we are looking for people who are keen to learn different parts of the business and take on new challenges, and are happy to switch responsibilities to meet team objectives
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organised and self-motivated
  • Punctual and flexible
  • Friendly, positive outlook
  • Strong mathematical skills and excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT and computer skills, especially Excel
  • Speaking a second language is desirable (such as Spanish or Greek)
  • Experience of working in the travel industry or administration role

Additional Information

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours on a rotation over 7 days a week. Shifts are currently 08.00-16.00 and 11.00-19.00.
