Transport and Logistics company based in Paisley. We are seeking a professional Transport Planner on to join our head office to successfully route the company owned and outsourced fleet. The ideal candidate will have previous working experience within a busy traffic office and knowledge of the general haulage industry would be highly beneficial. Main duties include:

  • Planning and managing the routes for the company fleet and utilising trusted partners where applicable
  • Assisting in ensuring driver compliance through WTD and Tachograph’s.
  • Liaising with other members in the Transport Office to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Liaising with customers via telephone and email to ensure good relationships.

Transport Planner - Position Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of safety and legal compliance.
  • Good understanding of WTD and Tacho’s.
  • Strong levels of communication.
  • Strong geographical knowledge.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to use Microsoft applications and understand how to use systems.

Transport Planner - Position Remuneration

  • Salary £*,000 - £*,000 DOE.
  • Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (flexibility required per business needs)
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
  • Pension Scheme.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
