Transport and Logistics company based in Paisley. We are seeking a professional Transport Planner on to join our head office to successfully route the company owned and outsourced fleet. The ideal candidate will have previous working experience within a busy traffic office and knowledge of the general haulage industry would be highly beneficial. Main duties include:
- Planning and managing the routes for the company fleet and utilising trusted partners where applicable
- Assisting in ensuring driver compliance through WTD and Tachograph’s.
- Liaising with other members in the Transport Office to ensure operations run smoothly.
- Liaising with customers via telephone and email to ensure good relationships.
Transport Planner - Position Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of safety and legal compliance.
- Good understanding of WTD and Tacho’s.
- Strong levels of communication.
- Strong geographical knowledge.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to use Microsoft applications and understand how to use systems.
Transport Planner - Position Remuneration
- Salary £*,000 - £*,000 DOE.
- Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (flexibility required per business needs)
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
