Experienced Transport planner

We are looking for an experienced transport planner in for our client in a busy transport office in Brackmillls Northampton.

Hours: 10:00 - 18:00

Salary £28,000 per annum

Main Responsibilites

Planning routes for up to 30 drivers - van, 7.5 tonne, HGV 2 + HGV 1

Assist the transport manager in implementing changes to improve operating procedures

Effectively communicate with all staff to ensure safety and efficiency of the site between different areas of the business

Effective co-ordination of drivers through on-going communication

Constant review of ongoing work to ensure time and resources are efficiently utilised

Maintain communication with drivers and customers to ensure delivery targets are met
