Offering a competitive salary of between £30 and £32k for an experienced Transport Planner, to work for our client based in Bardon, Coalville.
The role will involve but not be limited to:
  • Planning the deliveries and collections using the systems in place.
  • Liaising with both drivers and customers with regards to delays and issues.
  • Liaising with and sourcing local agencies when required.
  • Pre-Brief and De-Brief the drivers, giving clear instruction’s and making sure all documentation is completed correctly.
  • Manage WTD Compliance and ensure all loads meet safety standards.
  • Be able to work to targets and meet KPI’s.
  • Understand the importance of GP.

Please see the qualifying criteria:
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Transport Planner position.
  • Extensive knowledge in Multi Drop, Groupage, Subcontracts.
  • Knowledge of ESP/GTS/Transporean/BluJay (Preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent in ICT.
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Have the ability to work towards targets and deadlines.
  • Substantial knowledge of Geography.
The rate of pay is between £30-£32k dependant on previous experience and this is a permanent position.
