Job Title: Transport Manager

The Role

To provide a comprehensive transport manager service for upcoming contracts in accordance with the relevant departmental procedures. The successful candidate will ensure that the work is completed to an outstanding quality, alongside ensuring that appropriate records and necessary paperwork is completed accurately.

Responsibilities

· Plan and supervise the shipments from production to the end-user.

· Schedule routes.

· Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure proper storage and distribution of products.

· Monitor and report on transportation costs.

· Ensure that shipping documents are properly filed.

· Report maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and equipment.

· Keep organised records of vehicles, schedules, and completed orders.

Requirements

· Proven experience as a transport manager.

· Good leadership ability.

· Ability to lead and manage staff.

· Experience with logistics software.

· Familiarity with Microsoft packages.

· Good knowledge of English.

· A highly motivated and confident individual with a strong desire to succeed.

· A full driving licence.

· Residence in the UK.

· A valid passport.
