We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to join Vuba as a Transport Manager. Working in a team, you will be responsible for organisation and distribution of goods in line with current regulations.

Established in 2009 by entrepreneur Sean Scott, Vuba operate out of two locations, our head office in Beverley and distribution centre in Catwick, both in East Yorkshire. Also as a part of our continued growth we are now expanding into the South West of the UK opening our new Distribution Centre in Bridgwater. We’re proud to be a high quality British manufacturer and our products are now being used by people all across the world including UK, USA, Australia and Mainland Europe.

As a Transport Manager at Vuba, you will:

• Be responsible for using approved and authorised vehicles and hauliers for all sold products in order to establish efficient and cost effective logistics
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure coherence
• Adhere with current legislation, making sure company and logistics subcontractors operate in safe and legal manner.
• Establish and maintain an expansive communication network with national, international and local logistics, ensuring that company operates with sufficient logistics provision and meet all delivery requirements in timely, safe and efficient manner.
• Preserve excellent internal communication for dispatch of finished products to ensure delivery targets are met
• Ensure fleet maintenance is complete in line with regulation on a regular basis
• Coordinate with drivers
• Ensure all logistic procedures are in line with H&S standards

We are looking for someone who has:

• Background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
• Ability to use own initiative and propose improvements
• Qualification in Logistics and/or experience in similar role
• Proven experience of operating in fast paced high-volume work environment
• CPC preferred

Based in Beverley successful candidate will be working 42.5 hours. Working hours are 8am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 4pm Fridays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
