Shift pattern: Days , 4 on 4 off, 5am - 5pm

You will be Duty Manager of the Transport Operations and controllers ensuring that all O Licence commitments are met and compliance is 100% accurate.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure all vehicles held under the O license are compliant, any defects are rectified within a timely manner.
• Support the Operations Manager to maintain a safe working environment for all employees and to promote employee morale, engagement and support.
• Manage the daily operational plan
• Promote health and safety throughout the transport operations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment

• Provide the team

  with clear direction in order to guarantee that performance standards are met

• Excellent people management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Previous experience of guiding high performing teams in a distribution environment - either Warehouse or Transport Ideally.
• A right first time attitude
