Multistaff Have a great oppertunity to work with a busy transport company based in Skelmersdale.

The candidate will need to ensure that all frieght and Vheicles are planned for the following day You will need the following experience;
  • Ability to manually plan for the UK Freight vehicles.
  • Ability to manually plan for the UK Contract vehicles
  • Ability to co-ordinate dock runs and meet shipping timetables.
  • Ability to plan multi drops using routing optimiser.
  • Ability to raise NCR’, define issue, corrective action and preventative action.
  • Ability to successfully communicate with customers, delivery and collection locations.
  • Awareness and understanding of hazardous restrictions, driving hours & Vehicle and trailer configurations.
  • Ability to monitor routes on a daily basis and problem solve, redirect to ensure collections and deliveries are not affected.
  • Ability to calculate costs labour and fuel used on daily routes – report for management review.
  • Learn and ensure route errors or failings are not repeated by identifying preventative action and applying it to routes.
  • Account for costs incurred for equipment or resource in line with the weekly, period and year end calendar.
  • Report on Vehicle utilisation on a weekly basis to TM
  • Report on vehicle/driver speeds using fleet matics report.
  • Ensuring all drivers hours are correctly reporting
  • Ensure vehicles downloads are done within the 90 day requirements.
Maintain schedule of downloads.
  • Ensure all hire vehicles are correctly downloaded before returning to hire company..
  • Communicate infringements to drivers and agencies.
Obtain, understand and communicate effective preventative action to ensure infringement is not repeated.
  • Ensure holidays, days in lieu, sick days or other work is correctly entered onto the system.
  • Check and confirm 15 minute checks are registering on Tachos..
  • Administer defect reporting system and ensure there are no gaps in respect of reporting or completion of defects.
Ability to raise non Job NCR in respect of non-compliance.
  • Ensure all policies are adhered to and escalate.
This role will require the candidate to work Monday to Friday, Midday to 10pm.
