Transport Assistant required in Verwood, Dorset

TLP Recruitmentare currently looking for a Transport Assistant on behalf of our client based in Verwood. This role is ideal for someone looking for a varied role within the logistics industry or for someone looking to get into the logistics and supply chain sector.

What’s on Offer?

· £10.50 per hour

· Full Time. Monday - Friday, No weekends!

Main Duties

· Assist the transport manager with daily tasks.

· Moving stock via pump trucks and loading/unloading vehicles

· Booking in goods and transport

· Generating, reviewing, and completing paperwork and updating systems

· General yard and office duties

What do we need from you?

· Strong IT and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills

· Good level of physical fitness and ability to lift.

· Previous experience in a warehouse/office environment would be ideal but not essential.

· Logistics, transport, or supply chain background would be advantageous but not essential.

· Own transport due to remote location
