We operate over 7 million sq.ft. of warehousing space across 30+ locations in the UK. Our distribution network spans all corners of the country.
Our Markham Vale 1 site are now recruiting for a Transport Administrator on a full timebasis.
Salary: £23,205 Per annum
Working hours: Monday - Friday (9am-5pm)
The purpose of a Transport Administrator is to provide administrative support and creation of accurate data, with the ability to work to deadlines and contributing to the overall success of the site.
Key Duties of a Transport Administrator:
Contribute to the success of the site by ensuring that all POD and Return processes are carried out in accordance with the site policy documents.- Booking in collections for customers and completion of relevant paperwork.
- Booking in deliveries for customers.
- Investigate any collection queries.
- Ensure all paperwork is returned for all customer deliveries despatched from site, and chase outstanding POD’s.
- Liaising with staff at other depots and external contacts.
- Photocopying, printing, organising and storing documents and computer based information.
- Managing inbound diary for all customers.
- Monitoring daily the clean POD workflow.
- Controlling period end spreadsheets.
- Compiling lists of outstanding POD’s and contacting the hauliers to request.
- Reporting the POD’s outstanding each day.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Fantastic communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Able to manage own time to achieve targets.
