As our student numbers increase and we continue to diversify our programmes and portfolio, we are looking for a high-calibre individual to join our Finance department as a Transactional Accounting Assistanton a permanent basics.

This is a fantastic opportunity to enter a well-established and respected department. As our Transactional Accounting Assistant,you will be supporting the day to day activities of the Transactional Accounting team based in the University’s UK and India offices and ensuring that the University’s financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

We are looking for an individual who is AAT Qualified or actively studying, with experience in an Accounts Assistant role.

As our Transactional Accounting Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Ensuring the daily bank / stripe cash postings are performed timely and accurately
  • Reviewing daily bank balances and report to Senior Management of bank position
  • Regular reviews of any unallocated cash receipts and posting to student accounts
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts
  • Setting up payments through our online banking portal
  • Escalating issues of financial or reputational concern as they arise to the Purchase Ledger Manager

We are looking for people who are/have:

  • Knowledge and experience of cash posting and bank reconciliations.
  • Strong understanding of processing and reconciling a variety of accounting transactions.
  • Accurate with close attention to detail
  • Computer literate (MS Office), with advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
