Training Manager

Central England Healthcare is a Midlands based nursing care provider with six nursing homes across the West Midlands with its Head Office in Leamington Spa.

We require an experienced and well qualified full-time Training Manager to provide mandatory training to all the company’s staff at its six locations in Leamington Spa, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Stoke, Cannock and Great Wyrley.

The hours of work are 40 hours per week, 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday - Friday

The role is based in Great Wyrley but requires travelling to the company’s other locations and delivering face to face mandatory training to all staff in subjects such as manual handling, fire procedures, basic life support, customer care, Record keeping, MCA/DOLS, Safeguarding, infection control, End of life, dementia, supervision skills, tissue viability and Food and nutrition.

You will be an experienced trainer with a teaching/training qualification, with experience of lesson planning, delivering face to face training, evaluating training, and keeping appropriate records. Previous experience as an NVQ assessor is desirable. You must hold the Train the Trainer certificate in Manual Handling training. You must also have good IT skills.

You must be a car owner and hold a full, clean driving licence.

In return, we offer pleasant working conditions, an excellent salary of £38,000 plus per annum dependent on experience and qualifications, uniform, refreshments, and parking on site.
