The role:

Here at Bee Health we are passionate about our people and their development, this is a new role and will give you the freedom and independence to develop employees and training systems. In this role, you must be passionate about helping people learn and grow.

You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of bespoke training programmes. Designed with leadership, management, business and personal progression and best practice in mind. The intention is to expand on the talents and skills across all employees at all levels within an organisation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing a professional, proactive, and effective development service to all staff.
  • Formalise the skills development process linked to the pay and grading process.
  • Develop and coach a team to train and assess the technical skills of our employees.
  • Create learning strategies and programs to drive retention, performance, and skills.
  • Champion the induction process allowing Bee Health to get, train and retain the best talent.
  • Evaluate individual and organisational development needs.
  • Conduct needs analysis and research, design and deliver in-house training and development programmes for staff and managers which are aligned to meet organisational and individual needs.
  • Implement various learning methods companywide, including coaching, job-shadowing and online training.
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
  • Work with the HR Business Partner to develop team members through career pathing to ensure successful succession planning.
  • Ensure that learning evaluations are appropriately timed to measure, business impact and quality of training. Responding to evaluation outcomes to improve services.
  • Ensure that effective and appropriate development procedures are in place which meets legal requirements, business need, best practice, and organisational objectives.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills & experience:

  • Experienced in training design to ensure effective employee engagement.
  • Should have Excellent knowledge and understanding of online learning platforms.
  • Experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training events.
  • Experience in facilitating group events.
  • Experience of procuring training and managing external training providers.
  • Broad specialist knowledge of L&D trends and best practice.
  • Relevant experience in working within an Organisational Development function.
  • Relevant experience in managing an administration function.
  • Ideally, experience of working in a similar role within the food manufacturing, manufacturing, or distribution industry. And:
  • Preferably understand continuous improvement processes (The Kaizen Concept (Change for Better), Lean Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing Principles).
