This is a very exciting, high profile role to continue to develop an already well established and high functioning educational network across primary care and to support the ongoing development of the workforce within Sutton. The Training Hub will provide a platform for developing educational opportunities for Suttons GP Practices and help create a strong, resilient primary care workforce in future. This post would suit a highly self- motivated individual with an ability to influence, engage and challenge with integrity and credibility. We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills who has the ability to continue to work with others to develop the Training Hub to its full potential and secure sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely collection of data and to support submission of reports

• To help Sutton Training Hub Lead and Clinical Leads co-ordinate a suitable education and training programme for all general practice staff, maximizing capacity where appropriate with shared opportunities across SWL.

• Collate feedback and effectiveness of specific workforce development initiatives, to inform future commissioning decisions.

• Communicate effectively with practices to share information about Training offers available from Sutton and SWL

• To support with the provision of information for the Weekly newsletter

• Help project managers write reports for specific workforce projects.

• Work with the PCN Teams to support and promote placements, mentorship, preceptorship, specific programmes (such as the GPN Programme), apprenticeship opportunities and anything else that could support and sustain workforce transformation.

• Support the availability of high quality sustainable training placements for all learners and to ensure future workforce needs can be met.

• Keep the Sutton Training Hub website up to date, with latest training opportunities and other relevant information

Successful Candidates:

• Grade A-C in English and Maths (essential)

• Evidence of continued professional development

• Working within a multi-professional team

Excellent communication skills

• Ability to produce concise reports for issue to senior managers and other stakeholders

• Provide and process complex and sensitive information

• Working with complex data, to analyze and interpret effectively

• Accurate and efficient

How do I apply?

All candidates will need to be enrolled onto our ESF programme with LLC and will need to complete an application form before the 3rd of May 2023. All candidates will be pre-screened upon completion of the application form and then fast tracked to employer if successful.
