What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for an experienced Training Ground Travel Chef with a background in catering for professional sports teams to join our team at Leicester City Football Club Training Ground - Seagrave.

More about the role:
You will be required to work closely with our performance nutritionists to ensure that our philosophy is aligned. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the menus and recipes adhere to the presentation, taste, and performance needs of the first team.

The menu and environment will serve as a vehicle to educate and empower our players to make appropriate choices to achieve their individual nutritional goals, ultimately enhancing health, recovery, and performance.

You will need to hold excellent communication skills as thorough communication with hotels when our 1st team players travel away from home to ensure all the necessary steps have been taken to deliver top class food when on the road.

Essential Requirements:
We are looking for someone highly organised, with an open mind and capable of understanding flavours

Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm

Highly motivated and passionate to continually drive menu choices

A creative flair in the kitchen and a passion for creating outstanding flavoursome dishes

Knowledge of performance nutrition

Flexibility to travel as per match calendar

What we’ll give:
Training Ground Travel Chef

£28,000 per annum

5 days a week normal working week (40 hours) on travel weeks potentially 24 hours allocated to travel (3 days at 8 hours per day) plus prep time and potential for additional training ground shifts & match day

Leicester City Football Club (LCFC) is a professional football club based in the East Midlands. The club competes in the Premier League, the top division of England’s football league system, and plays its home matches at the King Power Stadium. The Foxes’ new training facility - Seagrave, is a £100m development on the site of the former 185-acre Park Hill golf course.

Who you are:
You should be passionate about nutrition and elevating the food offer, you should also be flexible to work around training schedules and accommodate regular business travel with the first team to away games, training grounds and home matches.

We will provide travel and accommodation for away matches.
