As the Training Coordinator you will plan, organise, communicate, and coordinate all the training activities across the Company.

Main Duties:

  • Update and maintain induction pack
  • Conduct the site induction to all new starters
  • Support and facilitate basic food safety training and supporting administration i.e. Manual Handling, Risks & Responsibilities, Slips and Trips, Food Safety Manufacturing role will also involve ensuring the administrative functions are carried out including ensuring that documents are issued and returned on time and records are always up to date.
  • Follow up induction training post 2 months
  • Collate and manage training evaluation feedback as appropriate
  • Drive, Train and audit the provision of continuous training across the site within key areas such as inductions, basic health and safety, food safety operational training and other training initiatives.
  • Training Matrix – Maintain accurate records to demonstrate continuous achievement of training requirements to meet food hygiene, health & safety and quality standards.
  • Support & manage specific site training programmes and projects, for example LMS, ensuring correct training is taking place.
  • Working in conjunction with Technical in order to maintain a list of staff job roles and responsibilities and updating the training matrix to ensure currency at all times.
  • Liaising with operation teams and managers in the service areas to ensure the colleagues are engaged in meaningful work that supports both the business and the persons development.
  • Use known education principles and stay up to date on new training methods and techniques.
  • Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials.
  • Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.

Requirements, Experience and Person Specification:

  • Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
  • Knowledge of instructional design theory
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
  • Experience of administrative work - being organised, ability to plan ahead and ensure deadlines are mapped out and met.
  • Experience of the coordination and of work activities / diary management for multiple people.
  • Experience of working across multiple teams with different requirements.
  • Experience of developing and delivering learning materials.
  • Experience of training and general development of people
  • Experience of people management
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Excellent people skills are critical
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire others
  • Training qualification would be desirable
  • Experience with e-learning platforms
  • MS Office proficiency

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per year
