What’s it all about?

Working remotely, our Training and Engagement Officers are focused on recruitment for our Sector Based Work Academies. They attend meetings as required to promote Classroom based/Skills programmes. They drive referrals by maintaining and building new working relationships with referral sources and network at local events.

A key part of the role is to onboard the required numbers of learners onto courses per region per contract in line with the local business plan. They also make sure the learners stay engaged throughout their pathway of learning with us, by working closely with Tutors and keep in regular contact to ensure that learners are receiving all the support required.

How can you stand out?

You should have high ethical standards and take personal accountability for everything you do and always look to be the best. You should have a passion for what you do along with experience of Skills based delivery and of working with an adult education training provider. Ideally you will have an IAG qualification or be willing to work towards one. You should have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets in a demanding fast paced role and be able to work with a diverse group of learners, showing empathy whilst helping them to overcome complex and multiple barriers. Experience and knowledge of local referral sources would be an advantage, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners.
