Purpose

The Training and Employment Centre Manager will be responsible for the strategic development and day to day delivery within the Centre, with line management responsibility for the Training and Employment Centre Coordinator.

You will develop and oversee the quality of delivery within our Training and Employment Centre (TEC) locations and ensure successful referral routes to local CFO Activity Hubs, other local support agencies and employers.

You will support successful delivery of training and employment interventions within the Training and Employment Centre. Your role will involve overseeing the scheduling and coordination of all activities taking place within the Centre. You will support with the management of risks, safeguarding and health and safety.

Engaging with CFO3 Operations, sub-contractors, partners and employers; ensuring successful relationships with key stakeholders within the justice sector and the wider community. You need to enable and encourage staff to be highly professional, organised and have excellent communication skills, to support the progression of our hard to help client group.

Essential:

You will have:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent
  • Experience of achievement in a target-driven environment and ability to drive performance through focused performance management
  • Ability to problem solve and respond appropriately to a variety of situations
