Established in 1978, we have grown to become Europe’s biggest and best golf retailer. From a single store in Ashton in Makerfield, we now have over 90 retail stores across the UK and Ireland and with the recent acquisition of our first golf club in Cheshire we continue to grow our leisure offering with the opening of our state-of-the-art golf complexes.

A key role within the Training department with a focus on the Induction of new starters and the maintenance of the Learning Management System. They will support the day to day training activity including sourcing venues and catering and managing any logistical issues that arise. The role will require coordination with several functions, including (but not limited to) HR, Marketing, Loss Prevention, IT and Finance. Flexibility to support wider administrative tasks will also be
required. This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months.

The position will be working 37.5 hours per week in our Retail Support Centre, Warrington.

Responsibilities:

  • Adding new starters onto the LMS (Learning Management System)
  • Maintain the LMS, removing leavers as appropriate and amending existing details where appropriate
  • In consultation with the Learning and Development Manager and Custom Fit Operation Manager add/remove/amend content on the LMS as requested
  • Manage reporting on the LMS
  • Liaise with Stores regarding any issues with the LMS
  • Support with administration and attendance for training events across the UK in line with the training calendar
  • Liaising with store management teams to drive & progress retail compliance
  • End to end administrative duties for the Induction of new colleagues
  • Maintain the induction tracker, reporting on non-compliance where appropriate
  • Participate in implementing training programmes
  • Maintain training records

About you:

  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good use of Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
  • Previous exposure to an office environment in a training administration capacity
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Previous experience of using a Learning Management System
