Broadside Training Centre

Due to our training centre expanding we are looking to hire Freelance trainers in SIA DS, First Aid and Spectator Safety Level 2/3 Ideally who already have an assessor’s qualification.

We are looking for freelance instructors to work in either of our two centres here in Portsmouth. Applicants should be knowledgeable, driven and enthusiastic and able to deliver Highfield accredited training programmes.

SIA Trainer candidates must have substantial experience within the security industry and have experience in delivering such courses. They will be able to prepare relevant lesson plans and materials, if and when required.

You must have the following qualifications for the following instructors:

SIA Trainer

· Level 3 PTLLS or AET (Trainer Qualification of Higher)

· Must hold a licence with an SIA approved PI programme provider, with evidence of annual refresher training

· Level 3 qualification in the Delivery of Conflict Management training

· Level 3 Physical Intervention

· Assessors would also be expected to hold a Level 3 Assessors’ qualification.

· Experienced in teaching for at least 2 years

First aid trainer

· Level 3 PTLLS or AET (Trainer Qualification of Higher)

· At least a 3-day first aid at work certification or equivalent.

· Experience in teaching first aid for at least 2 years.

Spectator safety level 2/3 trainer and assessor

· Level 3 PTLLS or AET (Trainer Qualification of Higher)

· Level 3 Spectator safety

· Assessor Qualification

· 1 years experience

A registered Highfield tutor would be desirable but not essential.

Progression within the company with the prospect of permanent work for the right candidate.

Rate of pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
